- Due today: Canadian Immigration Policies Quest
- We finished up our unit on Canadian Immigration Policies with a reading/responding activity called Immigration Questions.
- Following that, we watched some of our award-winning Heritage Minutes from last season.
- We also set next Tuesday as a date when students could use the class period to film and edit their own Heritage Minutes.

- Class began with a UNB survey on governmental policies.
- We then took a look at Citing Research in Papers and practiced the three step process of inserting research:
- The Setup
- The Research
- The Analysis/Response
- Tentative essay outlines were due (and returned) today.

- Independent Novel Activities: characters in bags, book talks, multimedia commercials, novel review forms.
